While you are here, why not take the pledge for sustainability - your first step towards shaping our common future.

It’s time to show you care! YOU CAN is a unique challenge to generate innovative, out-of-the-box ideas for a short-term awareness campaign or programme in your school/community/city which will have maximum impact and is cost effective. Based on the submitted ideas and implementation, schools/college teams will be selected for the final presentation at the Climate Jamboree Finale scheduled from 1-3 November 2018. Best project/campaign ideas will receive financial support for further implementation, win trophies along with certificates of commendation and will have an exclusive space to showcase their work.

The key is thinking out-of-the-box on any issue related to sustainable development that will involve maximum participation and have the biggest impact.

Look around you – notice the parks, open spaces, water supply, green belts, lighting, waste dumps, traffic, anything related to the environment impacting the lives of people. Put on your thinking caps, feel for the environment and society, and conceptualize a programme/ project/ campaign which will help you involve and reach out to maximum people leading to positive impact.

The design of the programme should demonstrate innovation and out of the box ideas in terms of programme structure, and should focus on capacity building, awareness, leadership and communication.
